I’m Cheryl Beatrice a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#99156) registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. I obtained my Master of Counseling Psychology degree from California Lutheran University (CLU) in Thousand Oaks, CA. I also have my Doctorate of Philosophy in General Psychology from Grand Canyon University (GCU). I am a certified Anger Management counselor, and have specific training in Brainspotting, Seeking Safety, Trauma Resiliency Model ®, The Gottman Institute's “Bridging the Couple Chasm,” Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Family Mediation, and Grief, Loss, and Forgiveness.
I am a member of California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT), the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT), the National Anger Management Professionals (NAMP), the California Association of Anger Management Professionals (CAAMP), the American Psychological Association (APA) division 1 (General) and division 32 (Humanistic Psychology), and Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology.
